Rebecca is a senior studying mechanical engineering. Hailing from Southern California, she is gradually chasing the concept of “weather” northeastward. She has been with OARS since before the acronym had an “A” (when it was “Olin Robotic Sailing”).
After leading the mechanical team for two years, she is now serving as the resident expert in obscure nautical terms and sea chanties. She likes not-so-subtly inserting the fact that she sailed across the North Atlantic on a tallship into conversations. When she grows up she would like to help take over the world with robots.
