MITxMake Saturday 4/21/18

Members of the class will be offering activities at EASE Lab table at the MITxMake on Saturday April 21st. Sign up for the morning, middle, or closing shift to cover the 8:30AM to 4:30PM event.

After you have engaged multiple users (of any age), you will write up a reflection document (via a Google Form in our shared Google Drive) that explains what you think would make your experience better. You will also be observing one of your classmates' experiences and commenting on it, to improve the activities.

Microsoft Garage Thursday 4/26/18
We hope you will join us for the opening of the new innovation facility, The Garage, in the Cambridge New England Research & Development center (NERD). We will be hosting tours, hands-on activities, and demos of cool emerging technology and inspiring programs.

The NERD Garage enables employees and community members to come together to innovate, collaborate, and experiment. The facility will feature equipment and resources for hands-on learning, along with activities and events to help people try new things and pursue their ideas. The Cambridge site has long hosted the Garage internship program — where university students work in a unique, entrepreneurial style to create and launch independent projects — and the new Garage will make that even better.
