Due: Wed 2/7/2018

  • What to do:
    • make something (whatever you want, but should not be elaborate e.g., an origami crane or a poem or a muffin or a custom keychain would suffice) for a student in the class that you are paired with
       
  • When and how:
    • before class on Wed 2/7/2018, give what you made to the person and explain what the offering explains about you as a person or your interests.
       
  • What to turn in:
    • come to class Monday 2/7/2018 prepared to introduce everyone in the class to your partner through the lens of what they made.
       
  • What it's worth:
    • 6 - 8 points (max) = as the presenter, demonstrating that you heard, and could convey the meaning of your partner's made object to the class. As the maker, showing that you assigned meaning to your object and communicated the meaning to your partner through appropriate object aesthetics.
    • 3 - 5.5 points = as the presenter, unclear presentation of partner's object. As the maker, unfinished product, displaying lack of intentionality.
    • 0 - 2.5 points = half-hearted or no attempt to make or present.
